‘Desert Calling’ is an original artwork on canvas, a mixed media work, featuring acrylic paint and crayon.
As I look at this painting, it brings to mind a wild desert space - those places that can feel both empty and dry, but also stunningly beautiful. Sometimes in life we walk through desert spaces and wild places - places that challenge us and test us. But those are often the places where we learn to persevere, and where we grow stronger and more resilient.
This painting is sealed for protection with matte varnish.
Canvas measurements (framed): 103cm (h) x 123cm (l) x 5.5cm (w)
Canvas will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Please note that I have tried to match colours on screen as close to the original work, but colours may appear differently on screen than in person.
Painting will be dispatched within 7 days of purchase
Canvas is wired and ready to hang.
International Orders
International shipping is a flat A$75, available at checkout for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga), most of Asia (Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka), Canada, the US, the UK, and all of Europe (the EU plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland). If your country isn't listed, email fiona@fionabrownart.com for a quote.
PLEASE NOTE: For international orders, the canvas will be removed from the frame and shipped rolled up in a tube. It will need to be reframed in the destination country by the customer. International shipping costs for a painting this size (even rolled up) far exceed $75, and are absorbed by me in lieu of the frame cost.
All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the customer, are not included in the item price or shipping cost, and I have no control over what they'll be. Please check with your local customs office if you'd like an estimate before ordering.
