Every Saturday is a day of rest for me and my family - a sabbath. It’s a day to quiet the notifications, to put phones aside and to take time to enjoy the life we’ve been given. It’s a quiet day where we focus on what we have rather than what we don’t, where we connect with each other, where we laugh, and choose rest over busyness.
This painting, ‘Day of Rest’, reflects that to me - quietness, stillness, peace and moments to enjoy the life we’ve been given.
This painting is acrylic on canvas and comes framed in a timber floating frame, wired and ready to hang.
Canvas measurements (framed): 79cm (h) x 79cm (l) x 5.5cm (d)
Canvas is signed on the front and back will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Please note that I have tried to match colours on screen as close to the original work, but colours may appear differently on screen to in person.
Painting will be dispatched within 7 days of purchase
International Orders
International shipping is a flat A$75, available at checkout for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga), most of Asia (Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka), Canada, the US, the UK, and all of Europe (the EU plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland). If your country isn't listed, email fiona@fionabrownart.com for a quote.
PLEASE NOTE: For international orders, the canvas will be removed from the frame and shipped rolled up in a tube. It will need to be reframed in the destination country by the customer. International shipping costs for a painting this size (even rolled up) far exceed $75, and are absorbed by me in lieu of the frame cost.
All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the customer, are not included in the item price or shipping cost, and I have no control over what they'll be. Please check with your local customs office if you'd like an estimate before ordering.
Returns
If the painting arrives damaged in any way, please contact me at fiona@fionabrownart.com
